Who We Are

Legacy Allied Health is a warm, professional allied health practice supporting children, adults and families across Adelaide. We deliver evidence-based care in a way that is welcoming, accessible and grounded in genuine connection. Our work is guided by the belief that everyone deserves to communicate, participate and live with confidence.

Legacy began with a simple question: What kind of impact do we want to leave behind?

Founded by a husband-and-wife duo of an Occupational Therapist and a Speech Pathologist, Legacy began with the goal of creating a practice where people feel seen, supported and empowered. As our team grows, that goal continues to guide our approach.

Today, Legacy is home to a multidisciplinary team committed to helping people live well, grow and thrive across all ages, needs and stages of life.

Our Mission:

To deliver personalised, evidence-based care that empowers people of all ages to communicate, connect and live with confidence.
We work alongside individuals, families and communities to create clarity, capability and opportunities for growth.
We ensure every person feels heard, understood and supported.

Our Vision:

To be a trusted allied health service that blends professionalism with a welcoming, family-friendly approach; supporting children and adults with care that’s both credible and approachable.

Our Values:

  • Connection: We build meaningful relationships with the people we support. We listen deeply, collaborate openly and create space for individuals and families to feel understood and supported.

  • Excellence: We deliver high-quality, evidence-based allied health care grounded in clinical expertise, professionalism and continual learning.

  • Compassion: We lead with empathy and genuine care. We honour each person’s story and provide support that is respectful, thoughtful and person-centred.

How we work

Our approach is grounded in partnership. We take the time to understand what matters most to each person and tailor therapy to their goals, preferences and everyday environments. Sessions are strengths-based, practical and responsive, with an emphasis on building confidence and creating meaningful progress.

We collaborate closely with families, carers, schools, support teams and other professionals to ensure consistent support across the environments where people live, learn and participate. Whether we are building communication skills, supporting daily living, or helping someone re-engage in valued activities, our focus remains on creating outcomes that genuinely improve quality of life.
