At Legacy Allied Health, we are committed to providing a quality service at an affordable price.

Pricing Schedule

  • Legacy Allied Health is able to deliver services for participants with NDIS funding which is plan-managed or self-managed. We are unable to service Agency-managed participants. The NDIS price guide caps speech pathology and occupational therapy services at $193.99 per hour, with travel costs capped at 50% of this rate. Providers are also entitled to charge any non-labour costs associated with the delivery of services, including kilometers travelled, road tolls and parking fees as applicable.

    • Face to Face or Telehealth Assessment/Therapy - $192 per hour

    • Travel - $96 per hour

    • Non-Labour travel charges - $0.99 per kilometer plus applicable tolls and other fees as required.

    • Reports - $192 per hour

  • Medicare rebates are available for some private services. Our rates are set in accordance with the industry standard, including Work Cover SA and the Lifetime Support Authority. Legacy Allied Health practitioners are registered with Medicare to provide allied health services. This enables the client to claim part payment of fees from Medicare or Private Health when a valid referral is provided.

    • Face to Face and Telehealth services - $234.90 per hour

    • Travel - $199.40 per hour.

    • Reports are available by negotiation at a flat fee of $352.50.

  • Legacy Allied Health Occupational Therapist can provide a range of reports for Medicolegal purposes. Our rates are set in accordance with the industry standard, including Work Cover SA and the Lifetime Support Authority. All services are charged at a rate of $234.90 per hour plus GST. Hours vary based on the complexity of the report requested.

  • At Legacy Allied Health, we also work with clients funded by a variety of insurance schemes, including but not limited to Return to Work SA, Lifetime Support Authority (LSA), and the Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA).

    Our rates are set in accordance with the price guide of the relevant insurer or third party.

  • Including clinical supervision, business and leadership mentoring and professional coaching. 1:1 or in groups.

    Casual sessions are provided at a rate of $230 per session plus GST. We also have a variety of packages available to suit your needs which can be purchased up front at a discounted rate.

Rebates and Funding

  • Legacy Allied Health are able to provide supports for plan-managed and self-managed NDIS participants. Please inform your therapist if you or the person you represent have an NDIS plan prior to your first appointment. At your first appointment you will be required to sign a service agreement in accordance with NDIS guidelines. For more information visit the National Disability Insurance Scheme.

  • Legacy Allied Health is able to provide services for people referred under a Chronic Disease Management Plan. These plans are arranged by your GP and entitle you to a limited number of allied health appointments per calendar year, with an associated rebate which varies based on the Medicare safety net and other factors, but will often range from $60-90 per session. On the completion of the final session, your treating practitioner will write a completion summary back to the referring practitioner. For more information visit Chronic Disease Management.   • Many private health funds and other insurance bodies (including Return to Work SA, LSA and DVA) cover allied health services. Please contact your individual provider to check your rebate amount. Gap fees apply.

  • Most clients will receive an invoice following the completion of the associate service, with payment due within 21 days.

    Clients claiming Medicare or Private Health Insurance will be required to pay their account in full before we process their claim through Medicare online, with their rebate being reimbursed directly by the funder.

    Medicolegal assessments require a 25% payment of the total account before the report is released. The remaining balance is due within 30 days of the invoice. If payment is overdue, a reminder will be issued and a 7 day grace period will apply. A one time 5% late fee will be added if the balance remains unpaid after the grace period.

Please provide 2 business days notice if you are unable to keep your appointment. If you cancel your appointment within 2 business days, 100% cancellation fee will apply. Exceptional circumstances will be considered.
